Dog Training Services For Personal Protection

Prevail K9 Training is proud to be able to offer highly trained and effective personal protection dogs for families or individuals wanting a better sense of safety and comfort in their lives.

Personal protection dogs make amazing assets to those who are high profile or at risk individuals. Many dogs throughout history have more than proven that specialized k9’s are capable and willing to be up to the task for this type of work and many when trained properly enjoy it! Dogs have also shown they can easily outperform us humans in many cases due to their extreme athleticism and keen senses.

While our dogs are incredibly trained guardians, we also aim to provide a dog you can comfortably integrate into your daily life. All protection dogs from Prevail K9 Training are trained to have reliable obedience both on and off leash and are socialized from the moment they come to us.

We offer two different levels of personal protection dogs:

Level 1

Concerned about the liability of having a dog who bites? No worries! Our level I protection dogs are a great option for you. Our level I protection dogs are taught how to bark on command as a threatening deterrent during high stress situations.

These dogs are not taught how to bite or apprehend people and perfect for families who have younger children. These dogs are trained in both on and off leash obedience, crate trained, and taught house manners.

Level 2

Our level II protection dogs are trained to apprehend and subdue attackers. These dogs are strictly trained to activate via verbal command from their handlers. These dogs are also trained to release and guard their handler when commanded to do so. Dogs also trained to bark on command as a threatening deterrent if required during high stress situations.

Level II dogs are ideal for individuals or families that require reliable protection under any circumstances including while traveling. Your dogs will also be trained in both on and off leash obedience, crate trained, and taught house manners.

Health Guarantees

Clients before purchasing a dog from us are welcome to have their own veterinarian check the dog before continuing forward.

All of our personal protection dogs come with a two year health guarantee that covers any congenital health defects for two years that starts after delivery of the dog. Prior to delivery dogs are fully checked over by a veterinarian to ensure their in top health which includes x-rays of the dog’s spine, hip, and elbows.

Delivery

Dogs are delivered to your home and trainers will spend three full days helping you and your family learn how to handle and be fully comfortable with your new dog and ensure you’re satisfied with your investment.

We currently only offer delivery of dogs to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of Montana. Plans to expand country wide are to come. Training Your Personal Dog

This option is only available locally

We offer the option to train a dog you already own as a personal protection dog. The dog must be under the age of two years, have no behavioral problems, in good health, and must take and pass our free evaluation.

If your dog goes on to pass the evaluation, a trainer will then discuss what options there are, pricing, and steps to be taken if you chose to continue forward with the training.
